Disclaimer: The yarn used for this project was given to me by King Cole Yarns. If you’d like to try their yarns you can find your local King Cole Yarn Stockist here. Find all my free crochet patterns designed using King Cole Yarn here.

The Yarn I used for this project:

For my Boba Bubble Tea Scarf I used 7 oz (200 g) / 328 yds (300 m) of King Cole, Big Value Poplar Chunky Yarn [5].

This durable, medium-soft yarn is made of 100% premium acrylic. Each ball includes 100 g (3.52 oz) and 164 yds (150 m).

I like working with durable yarns like Big Value Poplar Chunky because I know my finished projects will stand up to daily wear. Plus, I find projects that I’ve made using slightly firmer yarns, last longer, soften with time and become some of my most favorite to wear items – that I can depend on for years.

Don’t get me wrong though this yarn is soft to the touch – it isn’t scratchy – it’s just a bit firmer. This yarn didn’t fluff or pill while I worked with it. I found no knots or ties in the balls I used. The color and thickness of the yarn strand was consistent through each ball.

Big Value Poplar Chunky is machine washable (40C) and it is available in 50 different shades. To see the shades available in Big Value Super Chunky, visit this link.
