This luxury Lantern Moon Bequest Tunisian Crochet Hook Set includes 6 popular Tunisian crochet hook sizes, two swivel cords, 2 wooden end caps and a tightening tool. These tools are packaged in a zippered Khadi silk case that is embroidered with a pretty floral design. The entire package is aesthetically beautiful and will make a lovely gift.

First, let’s talk about the Lantern Moon Bequest Tunisian Crochet Hooks.

The sizes that are included are 4 mm (G), 5 mm (H), 5.5 mm (I), 6 mm (J), 6.5 mm (K) and 8 mm (L). When it comes to crochet hook sizes, these are definitely the ones that I would want to have on hand for my projects. This range will allow you to crochet with wide range of Light Weight / DK Weight, Medium Weight / Aran Weight and even Bulky Weight / Chunky Weight Yarns.

These inline hooks have a pointed head (which I personally prefer) and they feel sturdy and able to hold the weight of my stitches. The throat of the hook (where the yarn sits when you are making your stitches) is deeper and it allows me to crochet without being concerned that the yarn will slip out and I will drop a stitch.

I practised crocheting with Medium / Aran Weight Yarn (you can see me crocheting with the 6.5 mm (K) size Tunisian hook in my video included in this post) and there was ample room for a bulky weight yarn to sit comfortably too.

The part that really surprised me about these hooks is the finish. The hooks on their own are stunning; made from ebony wood (I love dark woods) and the finish on these hooks is like nothing I’ve come across before. The finish is exquistely smooth. It feels soft like silk and the yarn glides so easily (even with my tighter newbie stitches).

I tried the nylon coated stainless steel cord and a wooden end cap and the transition between the Tunisian hook and the cord was seamless. At no point did my yarn snag on the join between the two pieces.
