If you are searching for a simple crochet hat with a little bit of added flare, this easy crochet beanie might be exactly what you are looking for!
Annie’s Simple Crochet Hat pattern is a beginner friendly half double crochet beanie that includes a small lacy section near the brim.
You can make this hat with DK Weight Yarn [3] and a 4.50 mm crochet hook. This free easy crochet hat pattern is available in sizes Preemie, all the way up to Adult Large.
I am already a big fan of King Cole Drifter Aran yarn and let me tell you, Drifter DK (For Baby) is just as exquisite to crochet with. It is beautifully soft to the touch and it crochets like a dream. The yarn glides smoothly over the hook and my finished projects have great stitch definition. The colors are really pretty too. If you are looking for a new yarn to try, I recommend the entire King Cole Drifter Yarn line.
