How to Assemble Your Orca

Orca Body Assembly

  • Place Part 1 and Part 2 of the body together (with the good sides – RS – facing outwards).
  • Using the yarn tail you left from Part 1, whipstitch around the outside of the body, stopping to add polyfill to the body as you go. I started whipstitching by the tail end and worked all the way around to the mid-body on the opposite side before placing my eyes and stuffing.
  • Place the eyes between rows 4 and 5 with 4 stitches showing between.
  • Add more polyfill (do not overfill or you will see spaces between your stitches).
  • Finish seaming the body closed and weave in your end.
