How to Assemble Your Orca
Orca Body Assembly
- Place Part 1 and Part 2 of the body together (with the good sides – RS – facing outwards).
- Using the yarn tail you left from Part 1, whipstitch around the outside of the body, stopping to add polyfill to the body as you go. I started whipstitching by the tail end and worked all the way around to the mid-body on the opposite side before placing my eyes and stuffing.
- Place the eyes between rows 4 and 5 with 4 stitches showing between.
- Add more polyfill (do not overfill or you will see spaces between your stitches).
- Finish seaming the body closed and weave in your end.

Orca Flippers
- Fold your flipper in half vertically.
- Using the beginning yarn end whipstitch the 2 side edges closed.
- Weave in that end.
- Using the yarn tail whipstitch the base of the flipper closed and then sew it to the body along the side of the Orca (see photo for placement).
- Weave in your end.

Orca Dorsal Fin Assembly
- Fold your flipper in half vertically.
- Using the beginning yarn end whipstitch the 2 side edges closed.
- Weave in that end.
- Using the yarn tail whipstitch the base of the flipper closed and then sew it to the top of the Orca (see photo for placement).
- Weave in your end.
Orca Face Spots Assembly
- Weave in your beginning yarn end.
- Using the yarn tail, sew each face spot to the body of the Orca (see photo for placement).
- Weave in your end.

Orca Eye Highlights
- Using a small amount of white, highlight the lower half of each eye with a sewn stitch (see photo for placement.
- Weave in your ends.
