Welcome to my website!
I hope you find my website helpful and user friendly.
Last year I shared a detailed post about who I am and where I’ve come from and if you are interested you can read that post here:
Last year I went and I saw a new Gastroenterologist for my Crohn’s Disease to make sure everything inside was doing what it was supposed to be doing. I had multiple tests and procedures and then my Specialist ordered even more tests and procedures. When I sat with my Specialist to discuss the results he looked at me and said he didn’t understand what he was seeing because there was no sign of Crohn’s Disease anywhere and almost all of the scar tissue inside was also gone. I think I am still a little bit in shock from this revelation. Although he doesn’t think the disease will stay away forever based on my disease history, I am grateful for each day I can get “disease free”. I feel like this is my lottery 🙂
I have been busy learning the ins and outs of YouTube and it is getting easier – although it is quite the process. The lighting is the most difficult part and I am determined to get it right. I plan on recording more videos this year and also creating more photo tutorials for you for some different stitches I think you might enjoy.

I am still very busy with my two little ones – now six and eight – and their busy schedules. I sometimes think they are even busier than I am! Between school, their daily home reading assignments, their learning apps (Dreambox, RazKids and Teach a Monster to Read) for 20 minutes – twice a week and their extra curricular activities (Brownies/Beavers, Music, Horse Back Riding, Skating and Swimming) we are very busy.
Last year during my exercising (treadmill time was going really well) I managed to do something to my Achilles tendon and I have been having physiotherapy for the past few months. It is still not at the place where it needs to be for me to walk on for long periods, so I saved up to purchase a recumbent bike to ride in the house for exercise. The bike is working great and now I’ve added “Just Dance” with the kids 3 times a week for an hour! So cardio is picking up too!
I hope each of you had wonderful 2017 and I look forward to crocheting with you again this year!
