2022 Crochet Along List

Our second #CALCentralCrochet group crochet along runs from April 4th to June 30th. So grab your crochet hooks and some yarn and let's go find you a new crochet project to work on!

The Sweet Stripes Hanging Basket CAL is taking place with Green Fox Farms Designs. Small Basket: 6.5″ wide x 5.5” deep x 11″ long, Medium Basket: 8.5″ wide x 6.5” deep x 14″ long;
Large Basket: 10.5″ wide x 8.5” deep x 17″ long.

May 7th to July 2nd. The Kitchen & Bath Crochet-Along is an 8 week event where we will be making lots of small, practical projects for our homes.

Every Monday from June 27 to August 15, 2022, we’ll share a free crochet pattern for a summer project that can be completed in less than a day!

Marie (Underground Crafter) has teamed up with Warm Up American for this year's Sectional Blanket Mystery CAL. Join along and participate at your own pace this year. This year-long event includes end-of-CAL giveaway prizes.

The In a Tizzy Crochet Along is a unique free crochet along for cake yarns. This CAL is being hosted by Designer Polly Plum and has been released in parts. Each part has a video tutorial available.

Maria's Blue Crayon is releasing 12 swatches to create a blanket, or if you make them with cotton yarn, to create 12 dishcloths. This CAL will teach you 12 different crochet stitches.

Cosy Rosie is hosting a modern granny square blanket CAL. This crochetalong includes 30 different granny squares. CAL runs from August 15th to September 13th. YouTube video tutorials will be included.

Four gorgeous free patterns using 4 different crochet cable techniques. Infinity Cable Floor Poof, C2C Cable Cross Pillow, Worked in Rows Inishmore Blanket and Worked in Rounds Celtic Weave Baskets.

Katie Jones and Sirdar have paired up to do a crochet along this summer. This CAL is 6 weeks and begins on May 11.

The Bo Peep Pure DK Hidden Treasures CAL by Anna Nikipirowicz includes 5 different afghan square patterns available as free PDF downloads from West Yorkshire Spinners. Video tutorials are included as well as a supply list.

A stashbusting mystery crochet along for the brave and bold. Starts January 17, 2022.

The Crochet Swancho CAL with Marly Bird and Yarnspirations begins January 26, 2022.
TO FIT SIZE: S/M (L/XL, 2X/3X, 4X/5X), the sweater is oversized with 5-10” of ease.

7 Designers, 14 Designs, 56 Squares. A new square is released every three weeks until November 16, 2022. The finished blanket measures approximately 50 inches X 56 inches in size. Each square measures approximately 7 inches. The blanket is crocheted with Worsted Weight Yarn [4] and a 5.5 mm (I) hook.
