If you have been following my blog for a while you will know that I do love Gnomes. I’ve seen crochet gnome patterns popping up all over the place lately – on Pinterest, Instagram and on Facebook.
Hooked by Kati even did a Guest Designer Post for me (Thanks Kati!) for an adorable Corkscrew Gnome Bottle Topper. If you missed her free pattern, you can get it right here.
My favorite Gnomes will always be the Gnomes from the 1980’s TV movie Gnomes. I’ve always hoped they’d release it again one day – you can see a bit of the movie here (if you are wondering what I’m talking about!).
If you’d like to pick up a good Gnome book to refer to for patterns, instead of these online patterns, I did review a pattern book from Annie’s Craft Store recently (8 Fun and Festive Crochet Gnome Patterns).
A couple years ago I reviewed a fun cross stitch book (35 Properly Naughty Patterns) and some naughty gnomes are featured in it too.
The Crocheted Gnomes included below are some of my favorites. You will find small gnomes, gnomes made with cork for bodies (super fun and quick projects) and even Wizard Gnomes. Have fun browsing through these free crochet gnome patterns!
