Here are some of my favorite crochet edgings that you can add to your blankets and afghans.
This post includes links to patterns for brand new edgings, as well as, links to older patterns for Edgings, Trims and Blanket Borders. I’ve even included some Vintage options if you like vintage crochet patterns like I do!
Some of these free patterns include video instructions, some include photo tutorials and others are provide written instructions only.
Remember edgings will require a specific number of stitches to work properly.
Be sure to check your chosen edging pattern to see how many stitches you will need, before you finish your project. That way, you will be able to ‘fudge’ (add an extra or skip a stitch) on your final round (or row) to make it ready for it’s beautiful crochet edging!
