Huggable Superheroes Book Review
These adorable superheroes will make the perfect playtime friend for your child! Whether they fight pretend battles together during the day, or they are used to provide security and protection during the night, your Huggable Superhero can become your child’s fearless companion.
Each of the patterns is considered EASY to crochet. The Superheroes are approximately 15 inches tall (when seated) and they are crocheted with Super Bulky Weight Yarn . You will also need a 6 mm (J) crochet hook, approximately 12 ounces of Polyester Fiberfill and a pair of 15 mm safety eyes to make each Huggable Superhero.
- Anton Atomic Flyer
- Patty Powerful Princess
- Charles Crimson Defender
- Violet Valiant Heart
- Marvin Mega Boy
Each pattern is in American Crochet Terms. The instructions are written out in full, the stitch counts are provided and there is enough spacing between the rows/rounds to let you keep track of your place in the pattern easily. Each Rnd (round) or Row heading is displayed in bold font and italics are used to indicate important information. If a special stitch is being used in the pattern, the written instructions for it will be included in the individual Pattern’s Stitch Guide after the Gauge information.
The assembly instructions are included at the end of each pattern and they refer you to images of the superhero which have been included. The placement of the eyes has been provided mid-pattern in the HEAD & BODY section and it is specifies which round to attach the eyes into and how many stitches to leave between the eyes (this is very helpful).
The Yarn Used to Create these Superheroes
These adorable Superheroes were crocheted with Bernat® Softee® Chunky™. You can find out what colors were used for each Superhero on page 47.
Abbreviations, symbols and terms are included on page 44. Special notes about Gauge and Markers are also included. The Crochet Terms provide a written explanation and a diagram to help you master the stitch and/or technique.
