I just found out that Furls is releasing the next 4 sizes of hooks in the Streamline Hook Series!
I’ve mentioned these hooks before online and I even shared a photo of me using mine with my wrist brace on Instagram (click here to see it). The Streamline Crochet Hooks are perfect for crocheting with the pencil hold (or pencil grip).

I used to always crochet with the knife hold (or knife grip). Since my thumb, wrist and forearm started acting up and my Physiotherapist told me I need to figure out a different way to hold my hook, or I’d need to stop crocheting for a while, I started using the pencil hold too.
Now I switch back and forth from pencil hold to knife hold. It gives those muscles and tendons in my arm a break when I switch up my hold. I can get hours more crocheting done in a single sitting and I can walk away afterward without a sore arm.
Which way do you hold your crochet hook?
I already have the full set of Furls Streamline Hooks in Ebony (I purchased them for myself at Christmas) and now the next 4 sizes are available! I have 2 on the way from Furls right now and I am going to purchase the other two soon!
Speaking of which, the reason for this short post was to share the new hook sizes with you AND to tell you they are having a special sale to celebrate the launch of the additional sizes!
