On The Go Baby Blankets includes a lovely collection of 6 crochet blanket patterns in dense, textured stitches. Cables, popcorn stitches and post stitches are used to create beautiful textures blankets that babies will love to touch and explore. Every project included uses light weight  yarn and all but one of the patterns is considered an Easy+ project.
Each pattern is written in US Crochet terms and includes a written Stitch Guide for the special stitches being used in the specific design. Additional Stitch Diagrams and explanations are included after the General Information section at the end of the book.
The first design, Cables, includes instructions for a buttonhole strap to attach the blanket to a car seat. This project is worked back-and-forth in rows.
The Heirloom Blanket is created by crocheting panels in different textured stitches which are then assembled to form the finished blanket. The panels include Woven Lattice Panels, Basketweave Blocks, Braid Panels, Herringbone Panels and Popcorn Panels. A placement diagram is provided to assist with the assembly instructions for the panels and squares.
Luck of the Irish is crocheted in 3 panels before being assembled. Staghorn is worked back and forth in rows. Squares is created with 16 squares seamed together using whip-stitches. Popcorn & Lattice is crocheted in popcorn and lattice panels which are assembled into the final blanket and then fun tassels are added to the corners.

- Luck of the Irish – Easy+, Finished Size: 32.5″ x 38″, Yarn: Light Weight , Hook: 5.5 mm (I)
- Staghorn – Easy+, Finished Size: 30.5″ x 30″, Yarn: Light Weight , Hook: 5.5 mm (I)
- Squares – Easy+, Finished Size: 34″ Square, Yarn: Light Weight , Hook: 5.5 mm (I)
- Popcorn & Lattice – Easy+, Finished Size: 41″ x 41.5″, Yarn: Light Weight , Hook: 4mm (G).
The General Information section includes the abbreviations, symbols & terms, crochet terminology comparison chart (US and International), difficulty levels, crochet hook details and gauge information.
Additional Stitch diagrams and explanations have been provided for the following terms:
