The goal of the Charity of the Month series is to help us find Charities which accept crocheted donations! This month the information about our Featured Charity, Mini Hooves of Love, is brought to you by Mistie Bush of American Crochet. Learn all about the charity and why it is so important AND get suggestions for crochet patterns perfectly suited to this charity!

July’s Featured Charity: Mini Hooves Of Love
The mission of the Mini Hooves Of Love is to to give people the opportunity to interact with a miniature horse to enhance their quality of life. Some of the benefits of Pet Therapy are that it can reduce blood pressure, reduce heart rate, and encourages socialization. Most people can relate to horses and people in nursing homes and assisted living housing communities see them as transportation, or their work companion. They see them with fond memories and relate to feelings of freedom and strength.
