Finish off and weave in any loose ends.
For ‘assembly’ you have 3 options.
Option one: sew (or slip stitch) the seam at the back of the neck to make it permanently closed (this means you have to slide it over your head to wear it)
Option two: use small buttons to make it easy to put it on without sliding it over your head (so you won’t mess up your hair!). This will also make it adjustable to fit more comfortably for different neck sizes.
Option three: Add a tie in the same color of yarn to tie it in place and then tuck those tie ends beneath the neckline, where they will remain hidden under your coat.
