Sauble Beach area has always held a close place in our hearts – while growing up my parents took us to our “Uncle Jimmy’s” cottage there, for a week every summer. Although those vacations ended for us more than 20-years ago (wow -I really feel ‘older’ when I can say things like “20-years ago”)…we still go and visit at my Dad’s brother’s cottage, during Canada Day weekend.
An added bonus for me on these trips is how long it takes to drive there. It allows me a few hours of uninterrupted crochet time! So I bring small projects to work on enroute – this year it was finishing my June squares for the KRW Knitwear CAL.
Here are some photos from the day – nothing spectacular mind you – just some good family fun 🙂
I will be back with more crochet related posts tomorrow 🙂
Some nature shots…
Hope you all had fabulous holiday weekends!
